Shibir's Mostakur, Salman win VP, AGS, former coordinator Ammar GS in RUCSU elections

The results of the Rajshahi University Central Students' Union (RUCSU), Hall Sangsad and Senate student representative elections have been announced.
Mostakur Rahman Zahid, a candidate from the Chhatra Shibir-supported panel, was elected as VP with 12,684 votes, while Salauddin Ammar, a candidate from the Anti-Dominance Unity Panel and former coordinator, was elected as GS with 11,118 votes.
SM Salman Sabbir, a Shibir-supported panel candidate, defeated Jahin Biswas Esha, a candidate from the Chhatra Dal-supported panel, by a margin of 1,020 votes.
The counting of votes, which began at 8:00 pm on Thursday after the voting, ended at 8:00 am today.
After the counting of votes, Chief Returning Officer Professor Setaur Rahman announced the results based on the center.
